How to Check Your Wallet Balance

To see your Card Balance, go to the Wallet app and tap Apple Card. Or, open the app and ask Siri, “How much is my balance?” The Card Balance will automatically display below your Apple Card.

You can also check your balance on www.apple.com/apple-card/. Just sign in with the Apple ID you use with the Wallet app.

Card Balance covers all new spending and any previous balances you haven’t yet paid. So, for example, if you have Apple Card Monthly Installments, your balance will include the newly billed monthly installment.

Keep in mind that you can only pay off purchases after clearing them. That means Card Balance will continue to show pending transactions, even if you make a maximum payment.

How to Find Your Monthly Balance

The monthly balance is the total of any new spending and unpaid balance from the previous month, interest charges, and credits posted to your Apple account. Again, if you have Apple Card Monthly Installments, your monthly balance will include the newly billed monthly installment.

Once you settle the monthly balance, it will stop any additional interest charges on your account. Here’s how you do it:

1. Open the Wallet app → Tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘Pay’.
3. The app will automatically select your monthly balance. You will see a green checkmark indicating that you’ve paid your monthly balance.

If you’ve already paid some of your monthly balance, your remaining monthly balance will be displayed. If you settle your monthly balance by the due date, you will be charged with zero interest.

How to Make Payments

With just a few taps, you can either set up recurring, scheduled or one-time payments in the Wallet app. If you don’t have your iPhone or iPad with you, you can make an Apple Card Payment online at www.card.apple.com.

The account’s owners and co-owners are responsible for all payments made for the Apple Card Family account. Every co-owner can make payments on the account and add a different bank account. Before scheduling or making payment on a shared Apple Card account, co-owners need to verify that they have selected the correct bank account.

How to Set Up Scheduled Payments

To set up a scheduled payment, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone → tap the Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More’ → ‘ Scheduled Payments,’ → ‘Continue.’
3. Either tap ‘Pay My Bill’ to settle your previous monthly balance, or ‘Pay Different Amount’ to select an amount. → Tap ‘Next.’
   • If you select ‘Pay My Bill,’ choose when you want the payment to be made.
   • If you select ‘Pay Different Amount,’ you can choose your payment amount, when you want the payment to recur, and when to make the first payment.
4. Tap ‘Next’ and confirm your selection with Face ID or passcode.
5. Tap ‘Done’.

If you made a mistake or want to make changes to your scheduled payment, you’ll need to cancel your current scheduled payment first:

1. Tap ‘More’.
2. Tap the scheduled payment you want to cancel under’ Scheduled Payments.
3. Tap ‘Cancel Payments’ and select it again to confirm your choice.

How to Make a One-time Payment

In the Wallet app, you can make immediate or scheduled one-time payments.

Pay Now

If you want to make an immediate payment, follow these quick steps:

1. Open the Wallet app.
2. Tap to pay.
3. Hold and slide the payment wheel →  Choose the payment amount you prefer.
4. Tap ‘Pay’ and confirm with Face ID or passcode.

Scheduled Payments

You can also schedule a payment for a later date:

1. Open the Wallet app.
2. Tap ‘Schedule Payment’.
3. Select the amount you’d like to pay and when you’d like the payment to be processed.
4. Tap ‘Schedule’ → Enter the date in which you want to schedule your payment.
5. Confirm with Face ID or passcode.

How to Schedule Recurring Payments

You can schedule recurring payments for your Apple Card and never have to worry about making a late payment–and you can even choose the day of the week or month when these payments will be made. First, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card, then tap ‘More’ followed by ‘Scheduled Payments.’

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet app—tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Scheduled Payments,’ tap ‘Schedule Payment.’
4. Enter the amount you’d like to pay → Tap ‘Next.’
5. Choose when you’d like your payment to be made → Tap ‘Next’ again.
6. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

On www.card.apple.com:

1. Sign in using your Apple ID → Click on the ‘Payments’ tab.
2. Click ‘Schedule a Payment.’
3. Enter the amount you’d like to pay → Click ‘Next.’
4. Choose when you’d like your payment to be made → Click ‘Next.’
5. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

You can also choose to have your payments automatically made on the same day each month. 

In the Wallet app: 

1. Open the Wallet app → Tap the Apple Card
2. Tap ‘More’ → ‘Scheduled Payments.’ 
3. Under ‘Options,’ tap ‘Auto-Pay.’

On www.card.apple.com:

1. Sign in using your Apple ID → Click on the ‘Payments’ tab.
2. Click ‘Schedule a Payment.’
3. Under ‘Options,’ click ‘Auto-Pay.’
4. Choose when you’d like your payment to be made → Click ‘Next.’
5. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

How to Cancel a Payment

If you need to cancel a payment, you can do so in the Wallet app:

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet app.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Scheduled Payments,’ tap the payment you want to cancel.
4. Tap ‘Cancel Payment’ and select it again to confirm your choice.

On www.card.apple.com:

1. Sign in using your Apple ID → Click the ‘Payments’ tab. 
2. Find the payment you want to cancel → click ‘Cancel Payment.’ 
3. Confirm your choice when prompted.

How to Make Additional Payments on Your Apple Card

If you have already paid your monthly balance but want to make an additional payment, you can do so in the Wallet app or www.card.apple.com.

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet app →  Tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Scheduled Payments,’ tap ‘Pay Now.’
4. Enter the amount you’d like to pay → Tap ‘Pay.’
5. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

On www.card.apple.com:

1. Sign in using your Apple ID and click on the ‘Payments’ tab.
2. Click ‘Make a Payment.’
3. Enter the amount you’d like to pay and click ‘Submit.’
4. Confirm your choice when prompted.

Remember that making payments after your monthly statement closing date will not reflect in that month’s statement balance. Instead, these payments will carry over to the following month’s balance.

How to Choose or Change a Payment Source

When you first sign up for Apple Card, you’ll need to choose a payment source. This can be any US-issued credit or debit card or a US bank account. You can add multiple payment sources to your account, and you can change your primary payment source at any time.

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet app → Tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Payment Sources,’ tap ‘Add Payment Source.’
4. Enter your card’s security code → Tap ‘Next.’
5. If you’re adding a debit card, enter the amount you’d like to spend per day → Tap ‘Add.’

On www.card.apple.com:  

1. Sign in using your Apple ID → Click on the ‘Payments’ tab → ‘Add Payment Source.’ 
2. Enter your card’s security code → Click ‘Next.’ 
3. If you’re adding a debit card, enter the amount you’d like to spend per day → click ‘Add.’

To change your primary payment source:

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet → Tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Payment Sources,’ tap on the payment source you want to make primary.
4. Tap ‘Make Primary.’

On www.card.apple.com: 

1. Signing in using your Apple ID → Click on the ‘Payments’ tab.
2. Find the payment source you want to make primary
3. Click ‘Edit’ → Click ‘Make Primary.’

How to Pay with Apple Cash or a Different Bank Account

If you have Apple Cash, you can use it to make payments on your Apple Card. Open the Wallet app and tap ‘Apple Cash’ followed by ‘Transfer to Bank.’ You can also use a different bank account to make a payment on your Apple Card.

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet → Tap Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Scheduled Payments,’ tap ‘Pay Now.’
4. Tap ‘Apple Cash’ or ‘Bank Account’ → Enter the amount you’d like to pay.
5. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

How to Turn Payments with Apple Cash On or Off

If you have Apple Cash, you can choose to use it automatically to make payments on your Apple Card. First, open the Settings app and tap ‘Wallet & Apple Pay.’ Then, under ‘Transaction Defaults,’ tap ‘Apple Cash.’

In the Wallet app:

1. Open the Wallet app to access your Apple Card.
2. Tap ‘More.’
3. Under ‘Scheduled Payments,’ tap ‘Pay Now.’
4. Tap ‘Apple Cash’ or ‘Bank Account’ and enter the amount you’d like to pay.
5. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.

On www.card.apple.com:

1. Sign in using your Apple ID—click on the ‘Payments’ tab.
2. Click ‘Make a Payment.’
3. Click ‘Apple Cash’ or ‘Bank Account’ and enter the amount you’d like to pay.
4. Confirm your payment with Face ID or passcode.
